Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Here is a quick look at “The Week Ahead.”  As I've stated before, this is a quick look at some of the bills of interest coming up for deliberation in a few House committees.  If you want to come to Olympia to testify, please contact my office and we will do what we can to assist you.  Remember, now is the time to testify in committee.  When the committee chair moves a bill to “executive session” – the part of the process where we vote either in favor or against a bill – there is almost NEVER opportunity to testify.  And, executive session on bills can take place at any time with little or no advance warning.

Also, please don't forget to join me for my 9th District telephone town hall on Tuesday Feb. 12 at 6:30 p.m.  To join the hour-long “community conversation,” just dial toll-free 1-877-229-8493 and enter pin number 15440.  I hope you are able to participate.
