Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Once again, here is a snapshot look at the week ahead.  These are a few of the bills that will receive public hearings in policy committees this week.  This Friday, Feb. 22 is the policy committee cutoff date.  This means House bills have to be through House policy committees and Senate bills have to be through Senate policy committees or else they are considered “dead” for the session.  After the next week or so, we'll be spending more and more time on the House floor voting on legislation that has passed through policy and fiscal committees.

In the meantime, if you wish to visit Olympia to testify on a bill, be sure to contact my office.  We'll do what we can to make sure you find the right room at the right time and that your testimony gets to the right people.
