Capitol Report with Rep. Joe Schmick

March 3, 2016

Saying “It’s a very complicated issue, but we are going to get it done,” Rep. Joe Schmick, R-Colfax, discussed challenges ahead for the next legislative session on this edition of Capitol Report.  Schmick says the McCleary decision and details around spending on education will be a key topic in 2017, just as it was this year.  He also shared details on some accomplishments this session, including the passage of legislation targeting nursing homes in Washington state.
