Reps. Dye and Schmick join KONA to discuss lower snake river dams

Rep. Mary Dye, R-Pomeroy, and Rep. Joe Schmick, R-Colfax, join KONA to discuss an item in the 2019-2021 Senate operating budget proposal that would study the effects of the removal of the lower Snake River dams. Dye and Schmick also explain why one farmer, supported by an environmental marketing group based in Seattle, came to the state Capitol to support the removal of the dams, despite being at odds with the rest of the farmers in the district.
