Rep. Joe Schmick, R-Colfax, joins Glenn Vaagen on the PNW Ag Network to discuss the many Democrat tax proposals including a B&O tax, property tax increases, gas tax and licensing fee increases, and a potential “user fee” imposed on WA drivers. They also talk about the new governor’s commitment to work with him and others Republicans to find a permanent solution that would exempt farmers from the Climate Commitment Act, as was promised when the bill passed several years ago.
